If you are interested in photography, then Peterborough Photographic Society is suitable for beginners and experienced photographers alike. It meets regularly most Tuesdays throughout the season at 7:30pm (from Sept 3rd 2019 to May 12th 2020) in a well equiped club room at the Parkway Sports & Social Club (directions here). Enjoy a full programme of quality guest speakers, practical demonstrations, internal and external competitions, an Annual Exhibition, photographic trips and some lively social events.
Visitors and new members are always welcome with no obligation to join for the first few visits. Come along and visit PPS in the comfort of our clubroom, which has its own bar, and make new friends. NB With the advent of high quality lenses on modern mobile phones, images taken on them can be used for all of our League competitions and the Non League Events mentioned here. The choice is yours.
This year the judge was Steven Galvin who was impressed by the work and thoroughly enjoyed his task. The numbers were slightly down, due to the pandemic restrications, so we look forward to even more entries next year when the competition will be on March 28th 2023.

The last competition this season was the Comp.6 Prints and held on the 15th. March 2022 and judged by David Portwain ARPS.CPAGB. from the East Anglian Federation. Had 21 Prints entered and the judge went for the 6 top 20s.
First was 'Fighting Bussards' by Gill Steyn DPAGB.PPSA.BPE3*
Second was 'Wild Kestrey in Flight' again by Gill Steyn
Third was 'Paired Adonis Blues' by Peter Malton
