A hallmarked silver (Chester assay) plain rose bowl without a net. Overall height: 5½ inches. On a black, wooden plinth with a hallmarked silver band (Birmingham assay). The plinth was extended and a second band added later. Hand engraved since 1937. Engraved "Peterborough Photographic Society, Presented by Granville Proby Esq., M.A. F.S.A. 1936. Annual Competition for Architecture."
