Robert was awarded his MBE for higher mountaineering and mountain exploration in the Indo China border region of the Punjab Himalaya. Amongst other achievements he has been President of the British Mountaineering Council and chair of the Mountain Training Board of England and Wales. He will have a great deal to show and tell us. Our first speaker of the season was Robert Falconer and Everest, so we have now come full circle.
