It is May, the weather is good and everything is happening out there! Here are a couple of shots taken on Thursday 12th May at Barnack Hills & Holes NNR.
We have had various requests for something more practical and hands-on from the club. So if you would like to visit some of the local sites but don't know where to go, I am happy to take small groups or individuals and show them some of my favourite spots.
- Barnack Hills & Holes, Upwood Meadows for flowers and butterflies
- Woodwalton Fen for dragonflies
- Old Sulehay, Bedford Purlieus for woodland flowers, butterflies, etc.
Obviously depends on weather and availability and I cannot guarantee to be able to find particular species - wildlife is not that predictable! Anyway, if you are interested, get in touch.
