The formal part of the programme is now finished for the season, BUT there are still great things to do!

Pete Malton has kindly sent me the details below, regarding a trip out/activity on the 26th May  – Please see his email below.

‘I will be running a trip to Woodwalton fen on Saturday 26th may weather permitting. I will be starting at the car park  at 7.30am and be concentrating mainly on insects but there is other wildlife subjects such as deer and plenty of bird life if members wish to bring a long lens.it is also advisable to bring wellingtons because it will be wet underfoot. Tripods are optional

I will be there to look for subjects and offer advice on the day, the first few hours are the best to be able to photograph subjects before they become too active and are harder to photograph’.

Thanks for running this, Pete.  - I really love seeing your great wildlife/insects photos. – I hope that you get a good turnout  - I will certainly be there!

Great morning activity, with 10 club members attending. We all had great success in capturing those Dragonflies. Thanks to all who turned out at 7.30am and especially to Pete and Neil for organising this.
